The reference photo for this painting is a black and white image of my mom, my aunts and uncle playing in the Salton Sea as kids. It was taken in the early 1950s.

I wanted to capture the moment in black and white to honor the vintage photo. I also wanted to try a black and white piece. The video is very abbreviated, since the original footage includes a few hours of work. I tried to edit in the important things. Enjoy!
